A New Walkway Can Make Such a Difference Saturday, Mar. 01, 2003 - 1:07 am ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When we moved back in August into this little house we're renting, one of the first things I noticed was that were was no sidewalk leading from the street to the front door. My "feng shui eyes" immediately saw this as a bad thing, because it means there is no obvious way for energy to flow into the home, and consequently into the lives of those living there. For some insane reason, it took us until yesterday morning to finally buy some stepping stones and create a little walkway. And I swear, there is a difference already. Such great things are coming to me! Going out with Marie yesterday wasn't really anything new, but but so much was offered to me. Like the job potential, and the possibility of moving into her neighborhood. Also yesterday, Valkyrie called to see about her and Starr coming over to do the Kala, and although that didn't happen, the evening was so great in general. (See yesterday's entry for a better description. Then today randomly our friends Jack and Sarah call to see if we wanted to get together for dinner, which we did, and had a great time. We went to this great Thai restaurant, Thai Garden, and the woman who owns it also gave a performance. She played a while on a couple different traditional Thai instruments, then she did classical Thai dance. It was so cool! And they do performances every Friday and Saturday at 7 and 8:30. So I already feel like more opportunities are presenting themselves, and more life is flowing through our home, and more energy flowing in our lives. And tomorrow we are going to create a walkway from the driveway too, and do some other minor work on the yard. So then things will really start happening! Someday I really will explain better in this diary what feng shui is.
